Texas played very well against those Ohio State Buckeyes. Texas went ahead very late in the game, and stayed in there to win.
FSU v The Citadel -- What is up with that? FSU scores 3 pts in 1st quarter then comes on hard with a strong finish scoring 62 pts by game's end.

If AU's running game is in the toilet, then our offensive line is in the latrine. We are pathetic along the OL. Teams with good defensive linemen are going to destroy us.

Ok...I am very excited Alabama is 2-0. I just don't want to get my hopes up. But you know, my 4...and 1/2 years there we were terrible (except under Fran but we don't talk about him). So I imagine NOW that I am 5 hours away we will be good.
Big game this weekend...excited to see Spurrior back in the SEC at SoCar. It's going to be fun beating him again.

You can rest assured this Bama fan isn't overly-confident. We will be very, very lucky to win this game. During the summer, I thought this would be a near-automatic win. But at that time, I had no idea we would struggle so much along the OL and in the kicking game.
We've never had much luck against Spurrier in the past (other than beating him twice in 1999).
We'll see.

JB, I think you are right. We will be lucky to win. And yes not a good past with Spurrier except in 99. That's why is't so much fun beating him WHEN you do.
I didn't see the game last weekend so didn't know we were having trouble with the OL. Kicking game always a problem. Who remembers Phlugner? Gives me a heart attack. Now that was a lucky win in '99 vs. Florida.
