Isn't Guiliani taking out an ad about Hilary/move-on instead of addressing the issue & stating how he would handle the issue if elected "politicians spewing political venom"?

Petraus has a great resume and seems quite accomplished, but that doesn't win a war and get us out of the milennia long cluster that is sunni vs. shiite and the Middle East.

Just today, I heard that Rudy wants to try a new program to help the poor. He wants to pay them for doing basic things, like going to school, thinking that will make them better people, earning more money down the road. Personally, it sounds like wealth redistribution in my book. Who gets to pay those people? You guessed it, Joe and Jane Taxpayer. WTF?

Agreed,,,,,,,,

This from a popular 08' Desicion board;

Ultimately, the success of Giuliani's bid will hinge on three factors:

  1. Most obviously, can his candidacy survive the primaries, given his moderation on social issues?
  2. Will there be a weariness with 'the War on Terror' by the time 2008 rolls around?
  3. If Hillary runs, as expected, is 'former NYC mayor' a good answer to 'Senator from NY', or will the voters prefer a southern touch?
For the moment, Giuliani is one of the favorites. Rudy better watch out, though...Condi or one of the southern governors may race ahead quickly, particularly if the negatives start to stick.

Another board:

Worries about a Giuliani administration include "his ideological positions on issues -- including complaints that he would be both too conservative and too liberal; and questions about his personal traits, including his morality and leadership style. Members of the Republican Party...express concerns about his perceived liberal views and personal morality." More surprisingly, though, 15 percent of poll respondents cite his "lack of proper experience to be president" as a negative -- twice as many as express concern about his "questionable moral judgment." Given that his high-level work in the Reagan administration actually predates the government service of many of his opponents, this could be a number for Giuliani to worry about. For some Americans, his iconic reputation might not be reason enough to make him president.

Funny how we all perceive things differently. I, on the other hand, think he is just pointing out the obvious, what a tool she is for the far left and to what lengths she will go to get elected.

Condi Rice??? No way..she has been one empty photo op for the last 8 years--not really her fault, but what can I say, she is about the only one left with 'ol George now, everyone else has bailed, retired, or avoided prosecution...
