Haven't gotten into that one, but I am ashamed to admit that I'm hooked on Bret Michaels' Rock of Love. It's life affirming.

Me too. The girls on that show make me look normal.

The Geek Squad was here at my daddy's house today for like 6 hours. They left and his brand new laptop came up with the dreaded blue screen. They were very nice, but what is up with that?

did they offer any solutions? was it purchased at bestbuy?

Yes, Worst Buy. The geeks were supposed to come back yesterday...no update yet.

For those among you who are still watching Top Chef and any of you who think Dallas chef Casey Thompson is where she is because of how she looks, the inimitable Anthony Bourdain dispels you of the notion in his recap of last night's episode:

Casey, I think, deserves a lot more respect from some of the grassy knoll conspiracy theorists who've commented here. She's clearly a very fine cook — fully capable of excellence under fire. Let the distinguished judges' comments on this episode be the final nail in the wrongheaded and now utterly discredited argument that Casey has somehow been getting a free pass ’cause of her looks. Other than the brief, freakish, onion anomaly, she has shown nothing but chefly qualities. I, for one, didn’t care if she looked like Broderick Crawford when I judged the airline meal challenge: her dish was far and away the best.

This is when I have to wonder if they're fakin' bein' that :doh:

I love beauty and the geek. I can't believe that they let the two (slowest) pick the teams and they actually pulled it off. I love the asian guy and I can't wait to see next week. Go BEAUGEEKS!

Tivoed and watched Beauty and the Geek for the first time last night. I think we paused it every minute to laugh and discuss what was being said. At times, I was speechless. :funn:
