I have

clothes
an extra pair of shoes
dainty underthings
medications, band-aids, and contact stuff
ticket comfirmations
subway map, NYC cheap book, notebook with The List
Camera wave: RO!)
clear quart baggie with 3-oz or smaller liquid toiletries
all the other non-liquid toiletries that girlies need
water bottle

That's all I need for 3 days, right?

Sounds good to me. I usually just take underwear, shorts, shoes, tops. The girly stuff is low on my list of priorities when I'm on vaca. But, when I was your age, I took all that stuff too. Back in the day....

...all good choices! My "drinking" glasses (specs), Dikki Du drumsticks and Tapa Boca candle are awaiting my arrival (in the closet). Remind me to bring that candle home with me in Nov.!!! ;-) When I hit Mobile,...I will see the light at the end of the tunnel!

ummmmmmmmmm.......the drumsticks may not be where you left them during your last stay......
