INXS Rock Star!!

Because he's the host. I guess he and Brooke (& Brooke's attire) are the "draw" besides INXS. Dave actually seems pretty nice tho, unassuming, uneffected.

Why does Dave Navarre (sp?) feel he has to jump up there any play some lack luster guitar. Hell, he's not even playing lead the house band guy is and doing a dam fine job of it too. When Dave is up there they have him on camera as much as the contestant. Give Me A Phrickin Break!!

While she is nice to look at... that's about it... Not real impressed with her. Maybe I'm being too hard on young Dave but just looks like he wasn't getting enough attention so he had to get some more camera time. JMHO

Since this is the last show, I'm assuming the band will pick. They are the ones who have to let the winner be their singer, so they ought to.

Sorry, no beeg hooters tonight--3 guys. Maw will have to vote for the one with the tightest, lowest pants. Or Mig who can't help ripping his shirt off during every other song.

Right now it looks like JD or Marty. I still think JD is the most right for the band.

oh yes, JD seems to be the only real option at this point. he grew on me.

JD is young and they can mold him how they want. He does have a good voice - sounds a lot like Michael Hutchence. Someone will need to teach JD how to dance on stage a little better tho! ~

I like JD's moves! He's a hottie. I'm glad he won. I never really liked the song -You can't always get what you want- but I loved his version. I can't wait for the album.

All 3 of them are in their early thirties..I know that's young, but I thought they were even younger than that. JD kept talking about how he "grew up listening to INXS." I'll bet that made them feel old!

All in all, JD is most suited for the band, IMHO. I'm sure they will polish him up before they tour...will be interesting to see.

Very bad bangs on Brooke. Bet she never styles that 'do again. It looked like she was going to fall over sideways from the weight of them. Gosh we girls are critical, huh?

This was my first time watching Rock Star. I was actually reading, and it was on- JD was singing and I thought Hutchence had been resurrected- very eerie how much his voice is so similar.

The Farris boys have aged way too much for my liking! Guess it's been awhile since I have looked at them. Might be getting past the age to pack themselves into black leather.

Marty had several problems- he looked like he should be in the Tom Petty replacement contest (although Tom Petty doesn't look so sickly), the hair was too girly, and "Marty" is not a good rock star name.

JD definitely has the voice and the energy, but needs to expand his repetoire of moves and tone down some of the ones he overuses (the arm jerk thing with the elbow, for example).
