It is awesome.

They have this great way of balancing such a dark idea (bringing the dead back to life) and make it seem honestly sunny - without being overly hokey.

I know I made someone's day when I told them that Paul Ruben (sp?) is going to guest star for a few eps.

Without a doubt my #1 fave new show so far this season.
(#2 Life. Think of House as a cop, with a slightly brighter outlook.)

Yes it is. :clap:For getting it!

Wed night at 7pm. ABC

My Tuesday TV is booked - no Cavemen for me. Too busy :drool:over Booth and House. Then I have to have my Denny Crane fix. I think I laugh more at Boston Legal than any other show. It just couldn't get any better.

I think I still have a Pee-Wee doll in my closet somewhere. Last time I found it when you pulled the string it sounded like the someone possessed speaking slowly backwards.

Think I'm going to have to see how much that would be worth now on Ebay.

I love to watch Denny Crane too:wave:

It is the best! Just so much crazy funn!!! Makes my life seem normal.

Random fact: the other Aunt played Audrey in the movie remake and stage version of Little Shop of Horrors. I just love her voice. She has this teeny tiny voice, when she belts a note :yikes:It is flat amazing.

They are! The casting is amazing. The pie-maker is Kristin Chenoweth, she's the original Glenda from "Wicked," and she can sing like nobody's business.

Little Shop of Horrors is circa '86. It is a must see - even if you aren't a musical person it is a great movie.

Little Shop of Horrors is circa '86. It is a must see - even if you aren't a musical person it is a great movie.

It was 1986, and the movie wasn't a remake. It was a campy B-movie made by Frank Oz. (A Muppet man. Fozzie. Gonzo.) The music is by Howard Ashman, who gave us "The Little Mermaid." (One of my favorite things to do when I do that show is mess with Audrey by switching back and forth between "Somewhere that's Green" and "Part of Your World." They're pretty much the same song!)

Here's the kicker, Savvy--the movie came first. It was one of the first cases of a musical coming from a movie.

Looks like a grayt show. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXS0nEOx_20"]YouTube - Kristin Chenoweth singing "Taylor the Latte Boy"[/ame] is a funny woman. Wish I got that channel...
