Want to name a book character?

I have a friend who's an author, and she's trying to come up with a name for a male character in an upcoming book. It needs to be two syllables and rhyme with train. It can be made up if you want. No, there's no prize, but you'll get the satisfaction of seeing "him" in print if you win!

This is kind of a randommmm thought but pertains to this thread. Why do authors always name characters names that we can't pronounce or aren't sure how to pronounce?

First name only.
I don't know. Maybe she just doesn't like it, or it's too common.

Sorry, I'm not at liberty to divulge that information.

Dewayne (if he's from W. Virginia)

No Rain (if he's from N. Georgia)

Inane, Insane, and Arcane

Nobrain or Bigbrain, depending on his intelligence

Whole Grain

Refrain (seems kind of musical)

Cain, but that would make him a bad guy

No pain-no gain or Wax and Wane (he could be twins)

You're so Vain (the Carly Simon character)

and the obvious: Pudd'n Tain (ask me again, and I'll tell you the same!)
