Could someone please recommend a reputable Yoga establishment. I've done yoga several times, but the last time was completely "Jacked Up!" I broke my tibia in 3 places. I also dislocated my hip. Thanks

Oh My! So sorry to hear about your misfortune. I have heard that it is not yoga that injures people but rather yoga that is done incorrectly.

You need to go to Sharon Conroy in the shops of Grayton on 283 (Grayton Road) just north of 30A. She knows what she's doing and even has a therapeutic class for people rehabbing injuries. Check www.yogaon30a.com for more info and schedule.

I once dislocated a finger trying to grab pork rinds from the dormitory, screw-operated, vending machine. I was jacked up on PBR.

Check out One Hand Clapping:

Experience the Blissfulness of Yoga Nidra
Led by Phillip Ellis of One Hand Clapping <http://www.onehandclappingonline.com/>
4-Week Series <http://onehandclappingonline.blogspot.com/> at Bridgitte's Dancing with Live Studio
Oct 23rd-Nov 13th
6-7:30 pm (Every Tuesday Night)
Cost is $125 for the entire series
The ancient tradition of Yoga Nidra <http://www.swamij.com/yoga-nidra.htm> is a state of conscious deep Yogic Sleep. Through Yoga Nidra one experiences extreme relaxation while residing in a state free of thoughts and emotions. Knowledge and direct experience of this state allows one to exert control over how thoughts and emotions begin to arise and effect everyday life. Additionally, Yoga Nidra provides:
release from stress,
increased clarity/control over the decisions you make
enhancement of your overall sense of well-being
relief from sleepless nights
The series will teach you the basic principles of Yoga Nidra, so it is understood and can be effectively brought into your life. More importantly, the classes take you step by step through the techniques essential in directing you to this blissful state. Upon completion of this series one will be able to revisit and apply this incredible state of consciousness to positively impact their lives.
The sincerest intention for One Hand Clapping is to empower individuals with the knowledge inherent within themselves to positively impact their lives, their families and the community. The name for One Hand Clapping is derived from an old Zen proverb meant to inspire a journey of inward reflection and self-awareness. The playful nature of the proverb also serves as a reminder that life should not be taken so seriously as we progress through this journey.
You will be guided through the entire series in a casual, light hearted-environment, so do not let a lack of experience with Yoga or meditation stop you from attending.
Please contact One Hand Clapping at 850-419-2559 for questions and reservations or visit our website <http://www.onehandclappingonline.com/> for more information.

The bottom three rows of the vending machine looked like locusts had attacked. Campus police, however did not connect my finger splint with any potential crime. Fortunately the statute of limitations has expired 4 times over. Screw you, Vending Man!!!! How many times did I put in my money, press the 2 buttons, but the screw did not turn. I paid for that damn screw to turn, but was denied! I suffered! Safeway should have never put PBR on sale.
