(I just finished dipping out the bathtub to re-use in toilets, on plants, etc. Not funn, but not letting a single drop go down a drain makes me feel better about the water table!)

...don't ya' just love Texas weather??? Are any temp records being broken? It seems awfully late for 90 degrees!! It is raining here again. Mr. K flew out in some last night...said it was bumpy :shock:, but nothing like Thurs. night. Miss you...

Don't know about records, but add 30-40 mph wind. It's a blustery day here in the metroplex!!

Our weather is crazy too, last Thurs. I had to turn the ac back on it was hot and humid, then Friday and Sat. it was mid 40's at night. then by Sunday night it was warm and humid again. (all this with only a trace of rain)

Our weather is crazy too, last Thurs. I had to turn the ac back on it was hot and humid, then Friday and Sat. it was mid 40's at night. then by Sunday night it was warm and humid again. (all this with only a trace of rain)
We've had about 5 inches of rain over the past week or two. We have had nonstop rain since around 8:00 last night. It rained a good bit yesterday during the day and started back up last night. It is 47 here. Never got above 60 today. Is supposed to be only around 56 tomorrow and 57 Thursday with more rain through Thursday, finally will taper off Friday. Luckily, our highs after Friday will get back up into the mid to upper 60's with sunshine. So we should have a nice weekend. However, the lows will stay in the upper 40's the rest of the week through early next week. I'm not complaining about the rain, we have been so behind, we are glad to get it.
NoHall, I wished I could some of our rain your way. Our yard has been a muddy mess for at least a week from the saturating rain.

Believe it or not, at least the cooler air helps....it takes alot to make my hair do anything but lay straight, but this weather really pumped it up! Toots and I swear we could hardly breathe outside! Everything was wet, even the front door knob. It reminded me of Houston.
