A new take on Mondays

I hate Mondays, so today I tried something new--rode my bike to yoga class and back. I have to say, after 13.something miles on the bike and yoga, I feel great!
(And, yes, this is really me. No one is posting under my name, smart alecks. You know who you are.)

At least you got it in before it started raining. The cold, hit-you-in-the-face-like-needles rain that chills you to your bones. Oh how I miss Sowal...

I believe you. It's easy to ride that far when the humidy and heat aren't dragging you down. We've been walking and bicycling all over Indianapolis lately. It's so pretty out now with the leaves turning.

The "punchline" usually comes a day or two after.

Talking of bikes...Philippa called this evening in tears because her bike seat was stolen. Isn't that the strangest thing? I've heard of bicycle wheels being stolen on college campuses, but seats??? What a mean thing to do.

Now if she'd only have covered it with a shower cap like I suggested back in September, the thief would have been too embarassed to have gone near it and she'd still have a rideable bike. ("Social suicide, mama, social suicide...no way will I use a shower cap on my bike even if rains like Noah's arc...") But I was a good mother and kept my mouth shut. ;-)

Oh, of course! How is our favorite coed? Fighting off the BMOC's with a stick?

Please come down for your grandsons...they miss you. And, I want to see you before I leave. ;-)

No BMOC's that's for sure! When are you leaving? I'll def be down for Thanksgiving and Christmas! May be down next weekend but it's an outside chance. Suppose to have a garage sale that weekend and you know how that is when you put it off....it never happens.
