Santa Exchange

I originally posted this in the All About SoWal forum but didn't get any nibbles. OceanLover suggested I repost here-

My wife bought me about the best Father's Day present ever a few years back- a really nice Santa suit.

I gladly dressed up a few years in a row and it was believable that while Daddy was upstairs taking a nap that Santa showed up with presents. Well last year my 3 year old son was staring at Santa's eyes and took notice that it was me- "Santa Clause Daddy. Daddy Daddy Santa Clause"...

We managed to distract him with the toys and ignored his observations but this year I definitely won't be able to pull it off...

SO...

I just got an idea- A Santa Exchange...

I have the suit, glasses, beard, hat and wig. You wear it to my place for 20 minutes for a meet and greet and I will gladly do the same for you...

Any takers? We live right near 393 and 30A...

Geowickey, a few years ago, just like the movie The Polar Express, some "elves" came to my house on Xmas Eve and delivered one of the first Xmas presents to my then 4 year old nephew. As well, Santa left him one of the bells from (sorry, I can not remember which reindeer it was from)

They ran around the house peering through the windows ringing bells, (I'll pm you what the elves wore).

We also caught a glimpse of Santa.
Even my 100 year old grandfather was excited. The last time he caught a glimpse of Santa was when he was a child.

If my brother lived there he would jump on that in a heartbeat (I say that). He dresses as SC every year for his and my sister in law's 13 nieces and nephews. He loves it as do they!

I thought this would be a lot easier. C'mon folks. I can't believe there isn't someone out there that wouldn't find my little Santa Exchange idea a win/win. Who needs a Santa and wants to be a Santa?

I suppose I could repost in Help Wanted offering someone money to come over and wear the Santa suit for my kids but wifey says we will just get a perv/pedo...

She might be right...

I just think the exchange would be fun and could end up being a big tradition between us locals...

Lemme know...
