Hi all! I thought I would start a new thread for pictures. I can't post until later but I knew my parents might not be able to find them at the back of a thread! I saw so many unique and creative costumes at Seaside. One 11 year old girl made her costume, her brothers and sister's costumes, her aunt's costume and two of her friends costumes including my daughters. She is amazing! She took sewing lessons from a Montessori mom, who has been a designer and seamstress for many celebrities and beauty pageants. I will try to post the pictures later tonight.

Last year Sam said it was going to be her last year trick or treating but this year her friends talked her into going again. I think I went until I was a freshman in high school. Dylan always wants to be something gory and scary. I'm not a big fan of that but you pick your battles and it is only once a year. After it was all over Sam realized she forgot part of her costume. She had this really cool necklace and silver scarf to wear around her neck. Bummer. I was proud of her. I did not buy one thing for her costume..I take that back, I bought the hair paint, but other than that she found everything in her room. Those dance costumes do come in handy.She did all her own make up too..I thought she looked really good! I got off really cheap this year. Dylan just wanted old clothes to rip up and make up. It was a beautiful fall night and we all had a lot of funn.

No Rowan pics...he didn't care for his lion costume although he had the roar down nicely. We're going to try again next year with something not so fuzzy. GK was "the dude" and wore his pajamas to school. :roll:
