The Evil, Other Mrs.Rocket

So apparently there is a woman that lives in MY town, has MY name and was born on MY birthday! Not only that, she shops where I shop, puts in prescriptions at the same pharmacy as me and last week she was in the paper for some minor traffic infraction and everybody thought it was me. I met her mother at a Christmas party last year and we had a big yuk yuk over the whole situation but really it's getting spooky.
I home school my kids and when I called the school district last week with some random question, I was directed to the voice mail of the person who is now the new liaison of homeschooling......guess who it was? The Evil Me!
I want to schedule a meeting just to meet her but I'm afraid if I do, it's going to bust the gates of hell wide open and we're all going to be sucked into an alternate universe. (Either that or I'm being stalked by some weirdo that wants to live my boring uneventful life.)

I can't decided whether to :floor: or be :creepy:! So, I will do both. That is way too weird and sounds like the WaCo version of the Twilight Zone! I did have a situation in Dallas with the same name deal. My same name person went to a school committee meeting for me when she got the notice instead of me and I picked up her drugs at the pharmacy. She got divorced and remarried, which helped me out.

Keep us posted!

The same town and same name are bad enough. My husband's current stepmother and I have the same first and last name. Our records have gotten mixed up at the doctors office before. Her car payment has been drafted from my bank account before. I've already informed most of the family that if she passes away, I have no intention of attending the funeral. I love her, but that would seriously creep me out.

The same birthday is almost scary. It's almost funny, but it's not. Please keep an eye on your credit report, and good luck!!

They took her car payment out of your bank account by mistake? Isn't that what routing number are for?

At first I thought this was a Halloween situation. Mrs. R. I would so be wanting to meet her in person.

I think even scarier is the fact that some of you have pharmacies that don't ask for patient verification such as address and banks that are that careless, that is major scarey.

One question: is she pregnant?
If the answer is yes, don't even tell me. Too creepy.

This is why I married my husband. He has an unusual last name. There are only a handful of people in the country with his last name -- and he's directly related to them all. Therefore, I am the only one of ME in the city, state and coutry! I like it that way!

My first name is pretty common. The company I work with only has about 20 employees and 4 of them share my first name!

The finance company is adjacent to the bank, and she walked over to the bank and had them look up the account number to set up the draft - and they gave her my account number, instead of hers.

Fortunately, I have peeps in the SoWal branch of this bank, and I personally know the manager of the finance company, so it was quickly rectified...

:idontno:that is the only reason Jdarg married me.

I know what you mean about no mixups on the last name, but my wife actually told my MIL , "I just don't think I can marry him with that last name," early on in our relationship. Now she sometimes uses it as her nickname :idontno:

Apparently there are 2 Mr. OL's in this town or nearby. One year on Christmas (be4 we hadkids) the phone rang. I was upstairs and Mr Ol was downstairs. We both answered. The first thing I heard was ....Daddy...is that you? Mr Ol started to say I think you have the wrong number but then she said ...well this is so and so isn't it? He answered yes..but I'm not your daddy. Turns out their middle names were not the same. It was pretty sad that this little girl was even looking for her dad on Christmas. But I have to admit it was a bit of a scare at first.

I came home one day from the office and checked the voicemail...the message said my name with a small mispronouncement, which is not unusual, and then went on to say how much he enjoyed meeting me and looked forward to coming down to the beach to see me..:yikes:...another message was from this same guy. All I could think of was who in he$$ was this and my husband was going to have a cow. So I called the New York number and spoke to the sweetest gay guy (still would love to meet him) and he had met a guy over in PCB with a very similiar first name and our phone numbers were the same except for 234 instead of 231. I told a friend at work the next day and she knew the guy in PCB but I have yet to meet either..purty scarey stuff!! But funny as heck know!!:floor::floor:

No- but you are welcome to stop by and wear a tool belt the next time you are in town!

My goal is to have all our guy friends wear tool belts, then I am going to play the Village People and they can dance around the patio.:floor:

For some of us that would take Mucho Dargaritas, for others of us, not so much!
