Oh my. I have been painting for two days. Large upstairs bedroom that we use as an office/computer room. It's sort of a light gold color. Better than the old crappy white that's been there for 20+ years. Now that I look back though, I wish I'd had the foresight to know that neutrals were gonna make a comeback...(did they ever leave?). I would have painted the whole house in shades of neutrals & browns. But, as it stands, I have red, green & gold. Maybe the next homeowners can change it...I'm too tired.

I am going with sage green this time. I did my daughter's apartment in sage green, chocolate brown, wheat gold and rust and I loved it.

Dried Thyme by Sherwin Williams. The gold is Tobacco Road.

Next time any of your guys decide to repaint, call my man... 850.598.1660.

He is an excellent painter. I never knew how hard it was to paint until I tried; I had paint all over the ceiling -- my back hurt, altogether a mess. Then Allen came along. My house has never looked better. And please, feel free to recommend him, as you will not be disappointed.

I just repainted my den a sage color, love it

My favorite new color is in my guest bedroom. It is the color of pumkin/sweet potoato pie.(sherwin williams - Autumnal) I know it sounds strange but when put with some dark woods and the right paintings it is great. Better than the boring cream that was on the wall. I am a color person however, my bedroom is a dark plum....

Hi CP, well after careful consideration we decided that we had enough $$ to hire someone to do it. I did buy all the paint the other day and was ready to tackle it, but my hubby decided that since neither of us are painter's, and we both hate to paint we would just let someone else who likes to do it, do it. She is coming tomorrow. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks for asking.

The accent wall in my living room is going to be this color!!!! Plum sounds beautiful for your bedroom. My bedroom has been hunter green for several years. I am tired of the green. I am going with a chocolate brown this time. I can't wait for it to get done!!

We repainted a few rooms in our house this summer. I also used Tobacco Road. Great color, I think we are going to use it in our other guest room as well.

I got mine at the Duron store. I think SW bought Duron out so either store will carry it.

I am sure you can view the colors on a SW web site. Drizzle is a turquoise color...but very subtle. I love it. I have a friend that painted her bedroom this color, the moment I saw it I knew it was drizzle.
Just remember that the chips are usually a little different than they are in real life. If you are truly interested in a SW color....let me know which one it is and I can let you know which way the color will really look (more grey, green, yellow....etc.)

yes and you can look at them online but they truly don't show up as well as they do in person, or with the color swatches at the store.

I have a dear friend that just built a multi million dollar home and her designer used Tobacco road in the keeping room, kitchen, laundry and hallways and I love it. She used the Tobacco Road by Farrell-Calhoun. There is one also by Duron but it is more of a beige instead of a warm gold.

There are so many other colors, such as sage, rust, brown that go great with it.

The one we used is also a warm gold. I wonder if they are using the SW formula since SW's bought them out? :idontno: I had originally picked out more beige tones and decided at the last minute I didn't like them.

I do not think SW would compromise their own formulas to use them in another name brand store, no matter if they own that store or not. :idontno:
I am pretty sure they do not use their SW formulas in other stores. They might use similliar ones...but they will ALWAYS have different names for the paint color.
You would be surprised at how many paint stores SW really does own.
