Internet Broadband question

HI all

I want to be able to connect to internet broadband speed using a broadband card in my laptop (not wifi I have that at home ) its for when I cant get a wifi signal so can use the cell card instead

I have sprint at the minute which is a crawl at best, definately NOT broadband. Not even dial up speed its terrible unless in a city like atlanta or orlando anywhere else sux donky doo

Now I heard alltel operates most of the towers on 30a but does anyone have good experience with verizon broadband or a similar service that uses cell broadband cards pcmcia

Needs to be good on 30 a blue mountain /grayton which is a notorious crap area for anything cell like

Any help is appreciated

i have verizon broadband on my phone and it is very slow in this area but when you get closer to a big city it goes faster due to different connections etc or so they say.

i had a trial with cingular on my laptop when i got it and found it to be very slow too.

My Alltel service works fine in Grayton and Blue Mtn. I use my phone as a tethered modem and speeds are decent, nowhere near cable speeds, but downloads are still decent. They get faster in other places. Go see the thread regarding checking internet speeds.
