Tailgating advice

Okay, so we are tailgating at the Georgia Tech/Georgia game on Saturday with 2-4 people on Saturday. I plan make jambalaya (got shrimp at Goatfeathers and andouille at Cocoon's). When we tailgate for a big group, we heat up the chili, jambalaya, or whatever, at home, put it in a cooler (keeps cold things cold and hot things hot), and it stays very hot due to the mass of food. But with 2-4 people, due to the lack of critical mass, when we arrive for the tailgate, the food isn't warm enough (as we experienced at the Georgia Tech/Virginia Tech game. Any ideas on how I can keep my hot jambalaya warm enough for a tailgate after an hour drive plus 30 minutes to navigate the fooball traffic?
