Rain beautiful rain....

That's the best Thanksgiving present!!

...even our weatherman talked about y'alls chances last night!!! May it rain on all the parades! ;-)

I just now dragged my lazy rear end out of bed, and was sad that there was no rain. But I called my mom and asked if it rained earlier. "Oh, yes- it rained and rained and it was thundering and everything. You should be able to see pudd...oh, nevermind--all the puddles are under too many leaves..."

So I'm happy.

GRAYT!!! We can relate here too. We've been getting some too. Just cloudy now though. A lot of leaves got knocked off in the rain last nite.

My yard and driveway are completely blanketed. It's messy, but beautiful!

A couple of months ago, driving back through Atlanta, I saw a headline on a Sunday paper that read "Lake Lanier has 3 months of water left..." How frightening is that?

Wouldn't it be grayt if it just rained all night, every night, leaving the days clear and sunny? I'm gonna have to talk to Mom Nature about that and see what can be done.

The more water y'all get in Georgia, the more water we'll have in Florida. Bring it on!

Consistent rainfall all night in northwest ga.

We have had an inch since Thanksgiving

It was raining yesterday morning when I got up around 7:20 and it didn't let up until late last night. I am betting there probably is around two inches of rain in our rain gauge since it rained so heavy at times yesterday.

It's storming in Santa Rosa Beach...rain, wind, thunder and lightening...it is wonderful!

I love a good storm. We have rain today too. Bring it ON.

Send them both! They can stay with me. We are still getting rain, but are working on about a 6 month deficit. Traffic around Atlanta is an even bigger nightmare than usual, this a.m.!!! :shock:

I don't want to seem ungrateful, but I do wish it hadn't started with the thunder at 2:30am. Kept waking me up, and I'm going to be dragging all day at work.

You ain't kiddin'! I love it when I am in the middle of my left hand turn, with a green arrow, in the middle of an intersection, and some bat turd breezes through full steam ahead, blasts the horn and gives me the finger. Good thing I've got good brakes and was paying attention.

just got off the phone with a friend going up the incline at Lookout Mt.....said it was cool and drizzling, also remarked at the nice homes.

It is cold, cloudy and windy here and has been all day today and is 43 degrees. And there was exactly two inches of rain in our gauge this morning.

I was supposed to work outside, but got rained out. Good day to sleep in, right? Every time I went back to sleep, I dreamed that the guy I was supposed to work for would call me and say, "It's not raining! Where are you?" In my dream I would jump up and run to the window, and the sun would be shining and the road would be dry...

I woke up from this dream at least 3 times and ran to the window. It was pouring down rain, so I went back to sleep and dreamed it again...

aww. i can't stand those kind of dreams. or the ones when i'm about to be sound asleep and i jump out of an airplane or fall off the bed or whatever i dream about that makes me jump out of my skin.
