I'm not sure what cockroaches look like in Indiana, but in Florida, that looks more like the size of a No-Seeum. Cockroaches are about as big as your computer screen.

I saw it late last night and swatted at it thinking it was a little fly.

Florida has the biggest bugs I've ever seen. That is one thing I'm not sure I could get used to if I lived there. And yeah, cockroaches aren't that big up North. Sam likes to say she's allergic to cockroaches. She was allergy tested and that's one of the things they test for. She came up positive and brings up that little tidbit every so often. Makes me cringe. People probably think my house is crawling with them. And that's not so common up here.

This pic was taken last year..it was the biggest katydid I have ever seen. It was taken in The Villages when my mom lived in Florida.

I don't see any roaches, all I see is a counter rotating dancer!!!!

Seriously would have smacked my computer if I hadn't already seen this thread..........................and the cockroach wasn't the smallest I've ever seen by a factor of 4 or more!

Laptop + phone book projectile (my standard cockroach response) would be a bad combo!

Kurt, I keep trying to smack that roach running around in your signature line. You're getting my monitor all smudged up.
