Yeah....this may seem like a really weird thread, but I was just standing in the kitchen trying to figure out what was on the dinner menu and noticed the hommage to Sowal on the fridge. Allow me to walk you through this.

Well I came up here for an internship that I had to have to graduate from Auburn. I got a job a couple weeks into it and just ended up staying. I was working at a luxury/fashion publicity & special events company where I was a personal assistant (ahhh!) and then worked on an entertaining book my bosses wrote- Fete Accompli- and then worked on the Grey Goose account. I was 25 and so burned out from working 12 hour days for pennies. I was so desperate to get out of the city. My boss was a total nightmare- she's very well known for her temper and lack of professionalism and she screamed at me one last time. I was pushed way over the edge. Called my dad and told him I was quitting my job- without another. So I quit, lived in the city for about a month while I "looked" for a job. I got offered a job doing PR for Vessie B. It was a company down based in Destin so I though it was my ticket out of the city. I went down, moved to Destin and about a month and a half later the company filed for bankruptcy. I did some freelance work for Fudpucker's and then realized that while I LOVED living at the beach I just wasn't ready to throw the towel in. I missed the city, my friends, the work I was doing, ect. In July, actually right after Dennis, I came up and interviewed for a job with Macy's special events. I ended up taking a job with the Macy's pubicity department and here I am. I LOVE Sowal, but it's not my time to be down there yet. I'm way too young and really want to learn more from the best in the biz up here.

So that's my story! It's been an interesting year to say the least!

Yes! I work in the Herald Square Macy's. I know exactly what building you are talking about.

The building from Friend's is actually on my street. There are always tour groups there. The Cosby's set house is down the street too!

So, you are into Fashion?? My daughter is a fashion desinger for a small shop in NY. She makes one of kind dresses to fit the person buying it. She's 21- I'm just a make-up artsit. I did some live cable shows last year. Mainly my work is in print, film and weddings...

I am...I do enjoy it. We are really working to build the fashion department at Macy's. Make it more of a "fashion" destination. In the past I worked on Lifestyle accounts- but am thrilled to be back with fashion.

What are you kidding? I have two homes to pay for by myself. She lives with my Mother closer for her. I live here on Long Isalnd and I had a Job in Teaneck NJ today, nothings to far for me. I have wheels someone is paying me, I am there.
