Lest We Forget

Amen.

That is a beautiful gesture.

Such a beautiful resting place....all the simple white crosses....my friends'
father in law was buried there about a year ago.

Thanks Minnie.....

Sleep well our brethren who sacrificed all for us.......peace be with you....

Amen.

That is a beautiful gesture.

Wow, it's certainly is...

Here is a link to the story behind the man that started this tradition. It truly is a heart warming story.

Wreath Ceremony

Today was the Wreath Ceremony at Arlington National Cemetary. Since 1992 volunteers have laid the wreaths at each grave. The wreaths are donated by the Worchester Wreath Company, the owner covers the trucking expense as well.

Rest easy, sleep well my brothers.
Know the line has held, your job is done.
Rest easy, sleep well.
Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held.
Peace, peace and farewell.....

A salute to that wreath company owner.
Beautiful photo.

Ok, thanks, thought I missed something or else the lack of power had gotten to you. Believe me I know what it was like, we did it for 3 weeks once.

How appropriate for them to have the ceremony the day before the Anniversary date of the Boston Tea Party, which helped to spark the American Revolution, and give us freedom from Britain.

we need freedom from the corporations
