I start out with such good intentions of wrapping everything so pretty. By Christmas Eve, when I've only wrapped three things, I just stuff it all in bags.

Absolutely.

I used to just give gifts in the bag I bought them in with a bow, but then I married fn Martha Stewart.

Both, I try very hard to recycle nice gift bags, such a shame not to. Small gifts that don't come in a box of some type usually go in a gift bag. I like the way the combo looks under my tree.

I should take a picture of my garage. There's a table set up, containers with wrapping paper, 2 boxes of ribbons and curlers and all kinds of electric scissors. :rofl:Who knew?

I do both although so far this year I have wrapped everything and have not used a gift bag one.

Sounds like my computer room. Mr. dd just really got on to me tonight at dinner about what a mess it is. I've got wrapping stuff everywhere, the stuff to BE wrapped, beads, paint, and then there's all the "papers". Most of the "papers" are stuff to be shredded. Where is Kitty when I need her!??? And then.....there's the kitchen.

Both.....I like variety under the tree!

DD, you shred your own paper for the inside of the boxes as filler?

Oh no honey!! I just meant I've got stacks of paper waiting to be shredded in this hell hole of a room. It's a thought though!!Beach Fanatic
Have a friend that lives in a huge house and when the kids starting moving away, she took one of the big walk in closests and turned it into a gift wrapping room. I would love to have one. Everything has it's place, paper is on hangers, has a fold down table. It's very cool.

 What a waste. It could have been an ironing room.

give money - no fancy wrapping required

Ok, you gulls, you are going to have to get this quote thing, correct, it looks like I said It could have been an ironing room. No way I would say that.

She has a library, so need for another one in a closet.

She has one of those too.
I thought it was cool. The closet was empty and now everything can be left out and you just go in and wrap.

If I have time I like to wrap. I think kids like unwrapping more than pulling out of a bag...
hmmmm......can't remember

I like to wrap. I like to have a theme of wrapping paper every year--I went through a brown paper phase with grayt bows, and I went through a white craft paper phase. I still keep a lot of solid colored paper. But I also like a simple pattern.
As much as I like a really good bow, I HATE spending money on them. I'll stick jingle bells on the top or leave them plain most of the time.

Oh, I recycle for sure. Some of my bags are pretty sad. I give those to people at work.

It's probably just me..I've been having weird quote/multi quote issues today.

I think you're right. I'll wrap the kid's stuff. Yes, yes I will.

I did the theme thing for years, but now, I'm just lucky if I get the tags off! I did buy some pretty silver and black paper today though.

I really like shiny Christmas plaid paper with red or green bows.

Little IBD loves the shiny paper or anything Disney.
Tonight she asked me if she could just open one present. I asked her which one and why? She said the one from dad with the Mickey Mouse ears on it, "I just kind of find that interesting"
Needless to say, as cute as she was, the present still sits under the tree....
