I got a call on my cell ( I only give my cell # out to very good long time cleints and friends) from a very well known Hotel on Long Island. They want me to do jobs for them "on call" This is a big deal! No one gets calls out of the blue from them! I am meeting with them next week!
I needed a change so I colored my hair, dark brown and of course, went shopping. Oh and I bought those boots too! I got in the studio around 2 pm today and a guy was looking at me through the glass window. After about oh I say, 5 mins. He came in side and asked: Can I take you to dinner tonight? I just laughed and said May I help you? He said, yes you can , please say yes for tonight! It's was out of the blue! I told him that I gave up on dating and if he would like my company for dinner he would have to make appointment. And he did. Turns out He's a Big deal with real estate investing and is looking to buy on the panhadle of FL ( land for retail stores and homes by sights for new schools) . He was telling me that the Panhadle is going to be the next part of FL to hit the Northern buyers. I just laughed and said : Hey whata see some pics of when I was down on the panhandle in AUG? His eye poped and said you have to be kidding me right? I said no, I am not. Next week, I have you down for dinner. We'll talk then. Now You must leave ( in a joking way ) . What Coloring your hair can do! UH?????? :wub:

Who says blondes have more fun? Dabell, you just lived a new commercial for Clairol!!! When's dinner? Did you check him out...is he for real? I feel protective of you all of a sudden! Congrats on the hotel deal! Man, you had a great day!

YES I did! next wed night at 5pm . nice man, a gentleman about 49, 50 maybe 51. He talked about Pnsacola and land there ( as in acres and acres) going for about 1 millon and how a new k-6 th grade school is going up in the middle of no where. he said the homes would need to be in the 2's (lower income) maybe 55 yrs and up. But then they would need close by shopping. He sounded like he knew what he was talking about. You know I dated so manyyyy men, lawyers, doctors, cpa's and Wall streeters and you know what?
They all su@K! I rally am happy by myself right now in my life. But You never know what tomorrow will bring. As for The Garden City Hotel, that is a score! I can't sleep! just think about it makes me want to dye my hair again!

I do not mean all men suck. I just have a lot on my plate and I dont want to take on some else's dish." the life as a couple". I kinda like my alone time. You know what I mean? anyway It's not a date, it's an appointment. I know one thing about him He was never married. This is not the guy for me. I am a family person even if I am not with my Ex. I still have my family and friemds.

YOu go girl and have some fun :clap_1: . Enjoy the moment. My husband, who is a really great guy :D , was just an evening out and a free dinner. You never know what might happen or not.

Ktskris- you are too funny. :rolling: Congrats on your hotel deal Dabell! :clap_1: Seems you always find a man when you're not looking...who knows, maybe he just hasn't found the right girl to have a family with. The Donald is having another baby at 59 so compared to him you all would be younguns. Okay, sorry...I guess that is going a little too far, you haven't even had a date yet...er I mean "appointment".
