Writer's Strike

I hate that all of those people haven't worked out a deal yet, but I just caught some of David Letterman, and am now watching Jimmy Kimmel, and I'm laughing hard. They are back to their mindless humor from the streets, talking to real people. Jimmy is interviewing two men from Houma, Louisianna who just got kicked out of an all you can eat buffet for being fat and eating too much. The two guys seem to have a sense of humor, and one is just glad to be on TV. The other may be a little heated, though very laid back and calm in his long explanation of getting kicked out for eating too much.

You really need to go to sleep earlier...

I've always wondered how one could get kicked out of an all you can eat buffet. I myself avoid them....they gross me out...potential for germs being spread etc. and I could never eat that much...or would want too.

The manager reportedly told one of them that he looked like he had a baby under his shirt. Jimmy Kimmel told him that was not true. Jimmy said it looked like he had an adult under his shirt, referring to the guy's belly. He was eating a plate of onion rings or fried something, while standing up outside the restaurant for the interview. I have no idea how he found these guys, but that could be a TV show in itself. Two guys with huge bellies going across the country, trying to eat so much at all-you-can-eat buffets that they get kicked out.

Some AYCE buffets have an enforcement policy of "you've had all you can eat, now leave."

It would be a good documentary film that is for sure...kinda like the "Supersize" film....Any time I eat at McDonalds that film is in the back of my mind...thinking Yuck!

"You have all you can eat, you go now!" I've heard that yelled at large people in local AYCE Chinese buffets. As for the germs several years ago we went to eat at a local buffet with some friends. They got up and came back laughing so hard it took 15 minutes to calm down and tell us what had happened. Apparently one of my friends had gone to the ice cream cooler. It's a regular ice cream freezer you have to reach way down into to scoop your ice cream. While doing this he apparently drooled into the ice cream. It was pistachio and every time someone walked by with a bowl of it we all just completely lost it.

When I watched Supersize Me, I was like, "I'M NEVER EATING THAT CRAP AGAIN!!!" Then I was at Wendy's the next day and was about halfway through my chicken nuggets and just cursed really loudly. Everyone looked at me funny...
