Larry White, one of our SoWal buddies passed away in his condo sometime Friday or Saturday! He loved these beaches and walked there often with his dog, Oprah, a very curly red cocker. Larry was a very colorful person and we already miss knowing that he won't be there when we return to our favorite place on earth! God Speed Larry!

He was a full time resident, he lived at Beachside Villas for many years. I think he was in his early sixites, had an early retirement from Bell South and chose South Walton beaches because of Oprah. He enjoyed Sowal but am uncertain as to whether he actually ever posted here.

Sorry for your loss. Perhaps Larry's early retirement in SoWal can inspire more of us to retire early and enjoy life at the beach - what a nice gift for him to leave behind. I wish his family/friends peace.
