Hey Mermy

Is it cat or cats. Looks very strange.

Is it cat or cats. Looks very strange.

A cat by the computer when you're a dedicated SoWaller is hardly strange.

Someone looks just like our Sammy!!! So this is the way it is one week after bringing the kitties home. Sammy is a doll. That cat is so sweet and so laid back you could hardly imagine. And he's an excellent animal to have in a cold house in a cold Midwest winter: he is a snugglebun! A living hot water bottle when you're watching a movie on the TV.

Now the other one. Gordon. I think I said Gordon escaped from his room the night we got him. And remember how I said he reminded me of the Darg's sweet old cat, George? Well, I might want to rename him yet. Something like "Phantom." Phantom of the Opera. We have not seen, or heard, from him all week.

At first I was terrified that he crawled into the ducts and suffocated and we'd be finding dead cat in the spring. But no, he's alright, just suffering from Hollywood delusion. Seems that Gordon thinks he's the feline Phantom. He prowls at night and hides by day. And durn durn durn but sweet Sammy is a boy cat, so I can hardly provide Gordon with a ladylove to lure him out. I think we'll just have to wait. I look at his photo so I can remember what he looks like.
