Horrible/sad... I know it is an overused expression, but he did, on the surface, have everything to live for..talent, youth, good looks, money, and a great career--I am speechless.

He was found by his housekeeper in his apartment, when she went to wake him for a massage, as he had a scheduled appointment for the afternoon.

A representative of Ms. Olsen said that the apartment did not belong to the actress. “It is not her apartment,” the representative, Annette Wolf, a publicist for Ms. Olsen, said in a phone interview. “She does not own the apartment. She has never owned the apartment. She and her sister have an apartment in New York City but they are not in this building.”

So sad. And his little girl won't even remember him. She is only two years old, according to the news.

I have always had the biggest crush on that guy for some reason. I am in shock. He always somehow seemed like someone I knew. He just seemed such a really nice and normal kind of guy.

I remember when I first laid eyes on him in The Patriot.

I absolutely adored him in Brokeback Mountain.

I will miss him.

Go to www.drudgereport.com. Lots of links there. I never knew that he was battling heroin addiction as well as alcohol. Sounds like he was a pretty tortured soul after reading a couple articles....
