Great movie! Have Kleenex. I watched it twice, back to back......

I loved The Illusionist! We watched it back-to-back, too, DKA. ;-) Second time with the director's cut, which was really interesting. Then I watched it two weeks later with my mother. I could watch it again not only for the acting but just to see that beautiful golden glow the whole film was bathed in. I've hardly seen a film with such gorgeous scenery and light (well, maybe except for the other Edward Norton film, the one based on Somerset Maugham's novel set in China). OL, I think Edward Norton is an absolutely amazing actor and you're right, anything he's in is going to be good.

Then, this weekend, it is! I planned to see it at the movies, didn't make it. Planned to rent it the very week it came out on DVD, didn't make it. Mr. Pod leaves again tomorrow, so this weekend!

Edward Norton has always been one of my favorites. He was at his "bad boy" best in "Rounders." I thought he was miscast in The Illusionist.


Pea, I'm still trying to make time to watch "Once." I have to be able to give it my uninterrupted attention!
