I'm doin OK, SWGB. It's been an ordeal though. They almost didn't revive me when my heart stopped. As I was blacking out (at the hospital) I said...I'm gonna black out now, but I'll be right back! LOL Never passed out in my life!!! From what I hear...I had people climbing all over me...explains the fractured ribs...and a big burn on my back from the shock. Looks like an elongated piece of toast. It's a miracle they got me back. The docs in P'cola did open heart surgery on me and a double bypass. Even they didn't think I would make it...but I showed them!!!! They were truly astounded by day four or so. I'm one tough cookie!!! Hubby has been off work for two weeks and he has been great, but I am ready for him to go back to the office! LOL My 13 year old son is homeschooled, so he is here with me everyday and my daughter in Tallahassee will be here this weekend and will stay for a week with my new granddaughter. Thank you all for your concern!!!

thank you, kurt. Evidentally, my heart has been deteriorating for years. Too bad all those expensive tests I paid for over in FWB last year didn't show a thing!!!!! Hmmmmmmm is all I can say!!!! Daughter is going to dig through my box of "stuff" and try to find all of that info to take with me when I go to see the docs for a follow up on Feb. 13. I do not want them to find me a doc in this area...it might be the ones that missed it!!! I want to keep the docs that saved me in P'cola!! Dr. Baily, Dr. Vermer and Dr. Vidaugh(?sp)

glad you are back with us ! how ironic - my uncle had open heart surgery on the exact same day - quadruple bypass, and like you, he astounded the dr's with how well he did..

Way to go FlipFlopFlo! My goodness! What is with all the heart trauma? Corks dad? You? ME? I'm really impressed by Bay Medical. So yes, I recommend them.
I did hear one lady complain about the food. I actually told her to shut up and be glad she was still alive to be able to eat it. I thought the food was ok, but its a hospital, not a gourmet restaurant. Its just food.

The staff is soooooo friendly, helpful, funny. I had a great time. I'm in no hurry to go back though.

Glad you "came back". Being in the hospital like that is scary. THERE-I said it. I did get skeert for a moment there. But it was SoWallers that pulled me through. The phone calls and posting "over the phone".

And it helps to have friends in high places. Thanks BB!
