NOLA got hammered this afternoon. We (D/FW) had a visit from this front in the early am hours. Be careful!

DeFuniak Springs is about to get hit in 18 minutes. "Some Rotation" in the area, enroute to DeFuniak and will drive east down I-10 over my house in about an hour or so. Sure it will break up by then.

But our hatches are battened.

Antie Em, Antie Em!

There was about 5 minutes of some really strong winds here in Seagrove. Howling like there was a full moon. :yikes: One big bang like something was knocked over. Never did see what it was though.

It didn't seem to be much, but I'm sure you'll find that loud bang in the morning.

It was the transformer maybe? The power went out where my mom is staying in Seagrove.

It was loud enough to be a transformer. Didn't see the blue flash and my power never even blinked though. It woke all the snowbirds up. They were all looking out their windows.

If it was a boom loud enough to wake the snowbirds then it must have been the prices falling at WalMart.
