Go back to XP, sorry that seems to be the fix all for vista.

Tech Support; uninstall vista reinstall xp

My wife got Vista on her new laptop and I still run XP. She went with Vista because the company she subs for said that was the most compatible with all their applications. She has had nothing but trouble running this and that and rues the day she got talked out of XP.
She crashes more than a lady talkin' on a cell phone in a Walmart parkin' lot.

Sounds like what I will do. I had ME a few computers ago and had similar problems. I do really like certain things about both the ME and Vista os's like fast boot up, but bleh on much of it. Thanks fellers

You might try using Firefox for your browser to see if that solves the problem. I continue to hear that Vista sucks the big one. My brother, knowing that Vista receives nothing but complaints, recently bought a new computer with, you guessed it, Vista! Lord help him. lol. I haven't heard him moaning about it, yet.

I love Firefox. I don't have anywhere near the number of crashes that I used to have.
