Yeah, the police station is a good one. I'm not sure which lakes--but I did know the little tidbit about them being the only ones besides in Australia.

Sugar white beaches, Dune Lakes, Oysters of Apalachiocola, Crab Island, Seaside, Beach renourishment....these get my vote! To puck with those man made monstrosities (except for the strip mall that houses Fresh Market....)

I can't believe they put the Emerald Grande on there. Jeesh. :roll:

oh lordy, I can't believe the title of this little article/exercise. 7 wonders of the emerald coast? more like, most massive developments on the emerald coast (except lakes, sand, hurricane... )... jewels of the emerald coast - there are many - and they aren't shopping malls and condos. they did get one thing right - apalach area.

Looking back at this, I find it funny that hurricanes are included as that would be the thing to wipe out the 7 wonders.
