Yikes, this was some kind of "neighbor dispute"! It wasn't on snopes.com, either.

Dispute between neighbors - this is a true story.

A city councilman in Utah , Mark Easton, had a beautiful view of the east mountains, until a new neighbor purchased the lot below his house and built a new home
.

The new home was 18 inches higher than the ordinances would allow, so Mark Easton, mad about his lost view, went to the city to make sure they enforced the lower roof line ordinance. The new neighbor had to
Drop the roof line, at great expense.

Recently, Mark Easton called the city, and informed them that his new neighbor had installed some vents on the side of his home. Mark didn't like the look of these vents and asked the city to investigate.

When they went to Mark's home to see the vent view, this is what they found...

Bad neighbor story.......was having a ground breaking party with my builder and family one Easter Sunday and we had a small fire on the lot, and I mean small. The Neighbor called the fire dept. We heard sirens, cops, rescue truck, ladder truck, forestry...not kidding. They flew right past us looking for the inferno. They couldn't find one and stopped to ask if we knew anything....our itty bitty fire was still burning. Apparantly, the neighbor, who I saw watching us from her upstairs window, called 911 to report a huge fire. The FD hung out with us for a while, scratching their heads and laughing, we positioned ourselves within full view of the neighbor and had our pic's taken with the firemen,etc....

Tangent Alert!!

When my step daughter was around 8 yo we went to the beach and swam for hours in the gulf. When we got home she went for a bath. Within two minutes she started screaming like crazy. I ran into the bathroom to find out what the heck was wrong and she had her bottom down with a ton of seaweed EVERYWHERE....and still screaming.I couldn't help her for laughing so hard.:floor: I will have to tell this story on her wedding day.
