Large Buoy

i'm not sure where to put this thread....so...the lounge it is! I have a large buoy in my yard. It is round and comes to a point 8 ft. X 2 ft. wide...and heavy. My only guess is that Opal threw it in my yard many moons ago. Does anyone want it?!? It looks kinda like this...but more rusty, although it does still have some paint. I just am not sure what to do with it. help!

it is large and round and conical on one end...with massive mooring rings...should i put on craig's list?

Try craig's list, or try the coast guard. They might want it back and remove it for free.

Corps of Engineers...phooey. Please salute them for me if you see them, and say hello to Lake Lanier for me while you're down near the Gulf.

Every time I see this thread I think you're trying to get rid of your other Large Buoy, Cowboy...:blink:

All bouy's belong to Aid to Navigation part of the U.S. Coast Guard. I know because I use to have that job. If its real old they may not want it back. If it's green the top will be cylindrical if it's red it'll be pointed and yellow markings means it came out of the intracoastal waterway.http://www.uscgboating.org/safety/aton/non_lateral.htm
