Okay, it's late at night and I'm too lazy to change the channel. This thing as sucked me in. I'm not the crafty type, but this could come in handy during sowal exchanges.

I was sucked in about a week ago! Pretty cool piece of equipment! I am quite crafty, but haven't crafted anything in a long while. I used to have a craft room that wasn't so organized and then we cleaned it all up, and now it's back to a living room so we can sell our house!

It is a nifty gadget for those seriously into crafting. I had a parent that used one to help my class make the coolest origami boxes as Mother's Day gifts. The students got to put all sorts of fun embellishments on the boxes. They had a blast!

Isn't it basically a fancy cutting machine, which can give your papers weird edges? It would take days for someone to learn how to use one of those, and a pair of scissors will fit into your kitchen utility drawer. That thing is about needless. Heck, they even make special rotary scissors to give fancy edges, and they don't break down.

It's actually pretty cool. One of my old teachers had one and used it for everything. I agree with Smiling Joe, I'd much rather be creative on my own and use scissors, but playing with someone else's for a little while is a blast. :)

I have a friend with 4 kids that keeps a scrapbook going for each kid all the time. She has a small die cut machine but I could see how she would benefit greatly by having this.

Oh great, another "mom" project that I don't do and it adds to my sense of mom inadequacy. Add this thing to the glue gun and it is a double threat to my psyche.

I am hoping that Kate has a babybook by the time she has a baby herself.:bang:

Jdarg, not to worry. I am crafty, but terrible with completing tasks. I decided to give my daughter a scrapbook for her graduation gift. Well, I started a littled late.........the week befroe she graduated. :blink:There was no way on earth I could complete the scrapbook, and it be a surprise. I invited all my friends to help make a page. It turned out to be the coolest book ever. Each page was different and signed with a message from the creator. Just let your Sowal friends and family come over and play. It will be the best gift ever!
