Just when things were at their darkest--top of the ninth, two outs, nobody on, two strikes, the best reliever in the National League on the mound, the Cards had the Astros where they wanted them. It's back to St. Louis for game 6--and the best part is, I have a ticket.

Oh, was that the most exciting thing EVER?!?! My 12-year-old and I went nuts; woke up the 3-year-old, oops! :clap_1:

STL Don I thought about you the entire time and Albert hit that shot was cheering quietly (not to wake the rest of the house) right along with you. Since the Braves lost, I am now a short term Cards fan.

I don't really have a dog in this fight, but after the obnoxious behavior I witnessed from some Astros fans in Bud & Ally's Sunday night, I am pulling hard for the redbirds.

Oh, it was amazing! (Have I said that already? ) My 12-year-old son cried when he found out I was going. (And not for joy for his mom!)

But hey, while your watching the game you can pretend that your there -- have your honey bring you a slightly warm beer and then give him 7.75 for it. Then when you have to go to the bathroom -- wait like a half hour in front of your bathroom door before you go in, then don't sit down and don't use paper (cuz they're always out!) It'll be just like your there!!! (Trying to make you feel better, none of this stuff bothers me.

You should come down anyway! It's going to be crazy down here today! I imagine Kiener Plaza will start filling up around noon!!! Last year for one of the playoff games we came down and just hung around the stadium and listened on the radio. It was a blast!!!

I know, I figured if we wandered out at lunch, Kiener would be packed already. I'm not so sure about the red water in the fountain, though--kinda freaks me out!

It would be worth it just to hang out down here. Maybe tomorrow night (because there WILL be a game!!)
