Imagine the scenario: Philippa and her boyfriend are in the bathroom. The door is ajar but not very much so. Merman is walking upstairs approaching the bathroom.
He hears the following from Philippa's boyfrend, in a commanding tone of voice:
"Just tilt your head back and stick it in!!!!!"
Downstairs, I hear a sharp fatherly loud voice:
"What are the two of you DOING in there????!!!!!!"

This will gross some people out, but I've used the WaterColor/WaterSound plastic cups. They work great.

For people with allergies "the Neti" is one of the greatest things ever invented. What's bad is when you are so stopped up, no water comes out the other side. :shock:The Neti is wonderful. All 3 of us use one (yes, we each have our own) in our house. This form of sinus healthcare has been used for thousands of years. But you are correct, it is a bad thing when you can't get the water to circulate completely through the sinus cavity! :blink:

Late one night when my son was @ 16, I passed his room and heard moaning. I said "What the hell's going on in there"?? He said "Oh Mom I'm watching MTV and theres a condom commercial on". LOL.

I use the McNeil sinus rinse kit. Couldn't live without it. After having so many sinus infections and antibiotics that never seem to work or take weeks to work, the sinus flush does work. I've been on less medicine because of it and the same for my daughter. The first time you use it, you do kind of experience a drowning sensation for a second before the water comes out the other side. The temp of the water and saline has to be just right. Luckily it comes in pre-measured packets.
I'm not sure how the neti works...you tilt your head back? You have to tilt forward to use the sinus rinse.
