Merman needs a new watch for the beach! He has a beautiful stainless steel Raymond Weil that he won't wear anywhere near the water because he thinks it's going to get sunburned. Well, not really, but he refuses to believe that a watch that says "water resistant" means that you can actually--are you ready for this?--actually get into the water with!!!! And I'm tired of telling him that he can swim with his Weil without wrecking it. So I thought I'd buy him a dedicated Beach Watch. One that he can absolutely swim with. He can't stand not wearing a watch and I know it's been killing him all these years having to swim with a naked wrist. I want to help him. For those of you who swim with your watches on, are they water -proof or -resistant? Do I really need to buy waterproof if all we're doing here is splashing around on 30-A? Is there any other feature I should be looking for, or a particularly good brand? What I want to get is something cheap (as close to $100 as possible; he already has some good watches and I don't want to spoil him) and sporty. AND swimmable! Much thanks everyone. :clap_1:
