Have a great turkey day everyone. My girls made it in last night and I plan on spending 4 wonderful days with them. May not find time to check up on each of you, so many blessings to you and your family.

When my mother hasn't heard from me in a while she logs onto the board to see what I'm up to. Hey, that would make a good entry for "you know you've been on sowal too long when..." :blink: (Pathetic isn't it?)

Merman is hooked on this board too. He always wants to know who's talking about what. Silly man. My kids just shake their heads but when I say "Come see this Friday Funny!" you better believe they come running. They KNOW the funnies here are the best. :clap_1:

Well, my husband is registered too, but only lurks when there is a t.s. or hurricane. Sometimes, he's an idiot. I'm ready for the Thanksgiving hoilday (long weekend) to be over now so things can get back to normal. Too much "togetherness" if you know what I mean. I love him, etc., but, I'll just leave it at that right now! (arguing about Christmas lights outside...!)

Christmas lights..what a great way to ruin a day! We have a prelit tree and life is much simplier. Are there many men that enjoy decorating Christmas trees that are married?

Our tree inside is pre-lit. I'm talking about a few strands on a few bushes outside. You'd think I was asking him to rent a cherry picker to decorate the 30 foot trees!! I don't know why the cords and outlets have to be so complicated. Just plug them in and throw them over the bushes! Good grief. And this is a man who is incredibly handy!!! So, once again, our house will be the only house that only has a light on over the porch and garage!! Beautiful lights inside, boring outside!

No lights for us this year....child labor has left and HMM says why do it when we will be on the LOVE BOAT! Can't decide if I am sad or not!

I did my "exterior illumination" today and mine actually DID help...a little. I think he felt guilty because the wind was blowing like a TS! I'm not finished, but ran out of steam....more tomorrow. 😱

I did. My turkey day was great, spent with family. Then, I am ashamed to admit, I laid on my couch for 2 days watching watching marathon episodes of "Flip this House" and "Trading Spaces". I love those shows. Anyway, I was such a bum. I NEVER do that. I told myself I deserved it, and you know what? I did. I am so glad your FS and MS were home with you and hope you had a great day!!!!
