Speaking of scorpions, are the ones I kept seeing down there poisonus? I saw a ton of them.

The scorpions we have in this area are Hentz's Striped Scorpions (Centruroides hentzi) They do have venom, and the sting hurts, but it is not deadly.

Some of you guys are really good at this flake stuff!

Hi Sara, it's a Flash app. IF your company allows you to download and install helper applications like this, go to the Flash download page and install the one for your operating system. (this link is to the free versions.) Takes just a sec. They might have something that blocks the install if your company is particularly "tight" though..

Me too! I've been up in the wee hours. I'm getting better. Not enough to show one but better.

Keep trying. It took me quite a while. I am too embarrassed to tell you how long, but.....once you master it, it is so fun and addictive. Some huge scissor mistakes made beautiful flakes. Whoops, didn't mean to rhyme.

I can never find things like that so thanks for putting it on the board.
