So this evening I was arguing with my mom about buying laundry detergent that has a "touch of Downy" in it, and yet she still buys fabric softener...anyways I end up making her really mad and she says to me "just for that you are not getting anything for Christmas." I am 23 years old and my mom still uses that as a comeback when I make her angry! :floor: :floor: :floor:

I bought the Tide with a touch of Downy also, and I still use Bounce dryer sheets with it. Just didn't seem like a "touch" of Downy was enough to combat the static cling!

I've always used dryer sheets, but recently I found lavender sachets at Trader Joe's and now I use them. But we still need the softness in our clothes, especially the flannel (scratchy flannel sheets are the worse!) so I bought some Downey liquid for the first time.
My daughter Fyl called for an immediate boycott. Why? The Downey makes her clothing smell like her ex-boyfriend! Or so she says. :funn: So much for snuggly softness.
Bsmart, parental Christmas deprivation-of-gifts threats are an old habit that dies hard. Mamas still say them when their "kids" are 50 years old!

I have been using a lavender scented dryer sheet, I think it's a Downy product....smells great!!! I also finally cleaned my dryer vent screen!
