I have been hearing crazy stories about the things which kids do. Do you have any crazy stories about your own kids? For example, have you caught your kids licking your dog's wounds?

I have soooo many stories I don't know where to start. One of the funniest is when my wife and I would go out, the boys would try to walk around every room in the house without touching the floor. They would hang on the doors and swimg it open. They would jump from the couch to the window sills and then crawl across the mantel. We did not know at the time but the babysitter was in on the deal. She would pay the winner a dollar. We didn't find out any of this until years later and now it seems pretty funny. There are many stories about the kids sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night or bringing kids into the house during the night. We have really had an interesting experience with our kids as they were growing up. No real bad problems and we are thankful for that.

My son is only 18 months old so I don't have too many yet. One strange, but hysterical thing he does is call his aunt "Titty". Her name rhymes with it.

He also grunts whenever he picks up something heavy or gets up off the floor. He picked that up from me, I guess.

When my daughter was about 3 I had taken a day off work to run errands. On the to do list was getting her a Social Security card. The office was quite crowded so we had to take a number and wait. She quickly became bored with the wait and struck up a conversation with the lady seated next to us. She jabbered for a while and sensed the nice lady was beginning to lose interest in continuing the banter. For a few minutes my daughter got very quite and thoughtful. Then almost like a big lightbulb went off in her little head she tugs on the lady's arm and announces very loudly, "sometimes when I'm bad my Mommy gives me enemas!" I was dumbfounded! I had never given this child more than a baby asprin in her entire life! Not only did the lady next to us move, we cleared 2 rows of people in front and back of us! It was like the parting of the Red Sea!!!!!!!

I finally gained enough composure to gather my child and our belongings and run for the parking lot! I sent my forms in by mail! To this day I have no idea why or even where this child had heard this. All I can say is payback is going to be heck little girl. Just you wait!

One of mine said one day to a friend of mine, "Sometimes I eat my bugars and sometimes I wipe them on my dress." I sure won't say which one said it! :floor:

I thought she said "...and sometimes I wipe them on the wall." Was that the same one who said, "Guess what, mom? There are boogars in your bed."

At 3 my daughter ask the (nonpregnant) neighbor lady if she was going to have a baby ................ Talk about changing the subject as fast as you can!

Did any of yours ever say the wrong words for things? For the longest time our son would talk about all the chickens making noises in the trees in the summer. It took us a while to figure out he was talking about crickets.

When Will was about 2, he started to sass us a bit , or at least as much as a 2 year old can. We told him to stop being a smartmouth. Well one day, Bdarg was teasing him and Will said "Stop being a Fartmouth, Dad!". We were horrified until we realized he couldn't say "sm".

Last year at pre-school, Kate announced to her class and both teachers that "Meet the Fokkers" was a great movie. Except she didn't pronounce Fokkers correctly.

This conversation reminds me of that Chewy granola bar commercial..."chewy stops the chatter."

One kid says "My mom has a tatoo on her..."

Another, and by far the funniest, says to a bride at her wedding "My mom says she cannot believe you wore white."

Kids do so much "fun" stuff, it's a challenge to even recant. A recent item that comes to mind:
In church with grandson, maybe a bit shy of 3 at the time. Priest finishes homily, dead silence. Kid pipes up in voice that carries very well - "Is he done yet?"

I guess I used to have a problem pronouncing s's too. My Dad took me to the store and I was asking for a sucker using an f. My Mom said my Dad was horrified and didn't take me to the store with him for a very long time after that. Probably when I learned to pronounce s's better!

When I was about 6, I rammed my bicycle full speed into the back bumper of my neighbor's parked Cadillac. I can still taste the back windshield of that car. Man that hurt sooo bad. :floor: I wish I had a video of it.

Stupid question but.......what made you do that? Was there a little voice in your head or......why do little boys do stuff like that?

It was my birthday and I was riding my new bike and wasn't watching where I was going. I was looking behind me and WHAMMO. Faceplant. Both of my bottom canine teeth were sticking through my skin below my lip.

Are you sure it was not a Buick? I was walking with my friend when we were about six yrs old, and remember this older kid in the neighborhood riding up on his bike hassling us. Wham! While he was busy talking to us, he failed to look at the parked Buick located immediately in front of him. We hauled booty out of there.:floor:
