sara82 is in GA with her friend looking at grad schools. They looked at Emory on Thursday for friend who is checking out med schools. Yesterday they drove to Athens to check out UGA...sara82 LOVED it! Mr. K spoke with her briefly as they were driving back to ATL. She said she met the Mayor of Athens and they had a hoot of a time! I will hear more when she arrives back in Dallas today.

Good for her... I absolutely LOVE Athens. I miss it so much. Hopefully I will be going back to UGA for Law School, but we will see. The Mayor of Athens, Heidi Davison is very friendly. I had the opportunity to meet her when I was researching a campaign finance issue for one of my political science classes last fall. She offered more information than I was expecting to hear, this shows very good political character in my opinion, and not just for PR purposes either.
