Our annual corporate Christmas Party is tomorrow night. This event is a true spectical every year and to simply sit and watch and listen is the best part of it. People start saying and doing things they normally wouldn't. Not to mention, they tend to go home with people they normally wouldn't give the time of day to. :floor:
The limo drivers are the ones with the good stories at the end of the night.

He's awful quiet this morning. Hmmm.....
Yes, he is, and the party was Friday night....he must still be recovering.....
Okay here it goes, I think......
The party was great! There was a theme to the party this year and everyone wore 50's style outfits.
There was so much bad behavior going on that it's hard to remember who did what. Our remote sales guys (married) were the worst. Way too much aftershave and waaay too far away from their wives.
Pretty sad actually....
Big Toe showed up without his wife and was in a real bad mood. I think it was because the "big toe accuser" was there.
Someone showed up with a dang beer funnel. That was fun to watch the girls chugging on that hose. There were a couple backfires that I would pay to have on tape. Down it would go, and right back up a couple seconds later.
I behaved. I promise. I was over served, but in all, I behaved.
We wound up at some bar and before I knew it, I was slamming something called an Irish Car Bomb. I have never been a fan of Guinness beer but I am now. At least as far as Irish Car Bombs go. 4 of them turned me into
something I am not familiar with: A drunk guy full of energy. I don't know where it came from but it was funn.
------------------------------
3/4 pint Guinness? stout
1/2 shot Bailey's? Irish cream
1/2 shot Jameson? Irish whiskey
Add the Bailey's and Jameson to a shot glass, layering the Bailey's on the bottom. Pour the Guinness into a pint glass or beer mug 3/4 of the way full and let settle. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and chug. If you don't drink it fast enough it will curdle and increasingly taste worse.
------------------------------
Man, reading that drink recipe this morning makes me want to barf. Anyway, it was the best company party I've been to and all it cost me was a couple hundred bucks at the bar and a little of my dignity. Who cares? I don't.

Well, LL sounds like fun was had by all...and you were a good boy after all that liquid..Not one embarassing story to tell on you! Very good. Glad you had a good time. So, did "Big Toe" and his accuser chat at all? I figured he would have some words for her......

Big Toe stayed way away from that girl. I think she ruined his night. :floor:
I've been asking around to see if I did anything stupid so I'll let you know what I find.

Too bad for Big Toe. There has to be something LL!!!! You have to let us know!
I tend to get really quiet when I drink so hopefully I kept my mouth shut and eyes where they belong.

I really do get quiet. But my eyes go where they want to sometimes. I have no control over them.

I do know that I did not dance. I went straight from "I'm not drunk enough to dance" to "I'll fall down if I tried to dance" drunkeness. I know y'all know what I'm talking about.

I can't wait for the holidays over. Major detox time. This week coming up after Christmas is going to be a biggie though...

You see, if a girl drops her drink, everything's okay. If a guy does it, he's causing trouble and they throw you out. What's up with that?
