A few minutes later I found the old cat pawing at it's eyes with a brownish fluid all over him- I thought he was oozing some sort of nasty fluid of death- the imagination can run wild when the cat is 14. Turns out Kate dumped the hot chocolate on him- poor little guy. Fortunately it wasn't hot at all.
In typical cat fashion he is under the dining room table, totally insulted.

We received a really sweet gift at work Monday- a client brought us a dozen assorted pints of Graeter's ice cream. Somebody else snagged the peppermint before I got to it!! That's OK- the butterfat content is so high in that ice cream that it really doesn't matter which flavor- they are all good.
