Somehow, after reading the 'routes to Seagrove' thread, I ended up at this site: http://www.terrapass.com/index.html

With all the driving we do around/to here, and in the green leaning slant(sort of) this board takes, it seems a natural to get involved with. Just enter you car into the calculator, and see how much CO2 you're adding to the atmosphere. then you buy a TerraPass to offset your emissions via green energy production. Simple, no? Just got bought mine.

Audie, it really depends on how 'big' he's into it, which equates to budget. for most of the houses i do, i use SpeakerCraft or Boston Acoustics speakers, and Harman/Kardon equipment. the speakers 'speak' for themselves, and the HK gear is really simple to use, and quite good. perfect for rentals, second homes, and those who don't want to be intimidated by their gear. a universal remote control never hurts either. call or pm me if you need more info.

i was just curious as to a professional's opinion. right now we have a hodge podge of mitsubishi, yamaha, pioneer, and bose. places around here really aren't that into home theater yet, except for tv's and they only want to sell those because they are so expensive.

in our little corner, i don't even know of any installers, you would have to go to dayton or indy for professional installation. my husband and our friend have put our mess together. he just buys a piece at a time when the mood strikes. i think the next purchase will be a new dvd player, at least that's the last i was informed. i would like to get one of the bose lifestyle systems for the living room but hate to spend the money. we just had to replace our tv up here. ya gotta love hd tv's tho !
