Congratulations Tamara! Your ring sounds beautiful. I think eloping is a good idea too - so much stress in planning a wedding. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it. Then again, I got married in a courthouse the first time around, and felt like I had missed out. So I had a bigger wedding the 2nd time - still not quite a traditional church wedding, but we enjoyed it so much. Had about 150 guests for an evening cocktail party at a hotel - got married on the dance floor and then broke out the champagne. It was a nice alternative.

that also sounds very nice. we got married in a church and all that with about 100 people, mostly my hubby's side because i don't have a big family. that's what he wanted to do, so we did and it turned out fine, just not really my cup of tea.

excellent idea - i used to think i would've liked to have gone to las vegas but now i think getting married on a cruise would be cool, or like at a sandals or some other caribbean island. and how could i forget sowal ?? when we stayed in inlet beach last summer, they had a wedding just down from the house we rented almost every day. we watched probably 10 weddings from our balcony. everyone looked so purty !

My sister got married in Vegas a few years ago. We had a blast. It was the first time I'd ever been so I was in awe of everything. If I could do mine over, I'd get married at the beach in a heartbeat. Who cares if it's too far for most people to travel. The important people would be there!

Thanks! He picked it out himself and I was totally surprised. It is a princess cut dimaond in a platinum pave setting. The setting has diamonds on all three sides. It has a vintage look to it. It is really pretty. :wub:

He says sometime this summer. Probably June. Too busy at work to think about it right now.......

Thanks for all the good wishes for the Kitty family. We now have drugs...Flagyl. Molly is safe...she was not on the cruise. MS has asked to die. Not good...he has been so sick. Mr. K has walked around with a thermometer in his mouth and announces each reading....does anyone have a gun? I am not telling sara82 we have this.

family secrets? hmm............lets not tell our daughter that we have a fatal cruise contracted illness? i think the only way to make up for this is to financially support SARA82 in florida for a long weekend? that means;

1. unlimited spending at all boutiques
2. unlimited spending at water color bar
3. no curfew....i am 23 yrs old
4. total use of the cabana boy
