Once upon a time, after I'd finished college and was considering my employment options, my spouse actually suggested starting one of those companies... 😱

I could handle seeing/smelling the crime scene, but cleaning it? I have trouble cleaning up pet poo!

i'm right there with ya - my stomach gets weaker the older i get too ! i think maybe working the rides at a big amusement park like cedar point or king's island would stink too, the same thing over and over and over .....

My father-in-law, as a young chemist for Eastmann/Kodak had to work at a part of the chemical plant where buteric acid was produced. One drop would render any room unlivable. All the chemists working there had to buy a cheap second hand car to commute to work because of the smell. Not good.

When I was at Auburn, I worked at a wholesale nursery. (Plants and stuff) It was hard work but I didn't mind it. On my first day, everybody at the place left and the guy in charge said, "Just look around for stuff to do". So I did. I swept and swept and swept. Moved some stuff around and straightened up a bit. Took a forklift for a joy ride and got it stuck in the mud. I was stoned, okay. After I got the forklift out of the mud, I started looking around for a water fountain. No luck. So I grabbed a water hose and drank about five gallons of water while I washed the mud off the forklift.

When the boss returned, he looked around and was very pleased. He then told me, "Hey, don't drink from the hoses around here. The water comes from those big tanks over there and they are full of fertilizer for the plants."

Well I can tell you that fertilizer will not kill you. I can't believe that guy waited to tell me that. He was an arrogant s.o.b, too. His first name was "king". That may have had something to do with it.

I think the job that I would hate the most would be WEDDING PLANNER!

Don't get me wrong, I think weddings are truly wonderful and often a lot of fun to help with. I just would not want to have a career where the misuse of carnations could make or break you. Way too much pressure! :blink:
