Congratulations. It's at about this point that your posts start a snowball effect- every day you will post more, and more, and more, and you just can't stop, and then you are hooked. And then you hit 1000. And then you really get motivated to gab gab gab!

There's a travel forum called slowtrav, and when the posters hit milestone postings--100, 500, etc, they have to tell a joke. I have the feeling we'd have a joke a day at the rate we gab!

Ok, so I have come back from the brink of death. I left here at 1:00 pm Friday, with nothing on my mind but getting some Nyquil and getting in the bed. I felt like SH**. I could not get home fast enough. Felt like I had been run over by a truck. It hit me fast and hard. I finally got in the bed at 2:00pm. Took a swig of the green stuff, and slept literally until Sunday afternoon. My 12 year old son asked me "mom, are you going to die?" He is not used to seeing me in the bed that long. I go, go, go all the time. I told him I hoped not, but the way I felt I wasn't sure". My fever finally broke sometime Sunday morning. I did get up long enough in those 2 1/2 days to pee and drink something, but that is all I wanted to do. I feel better now, except I can't hear anything. My ears are so stopped up. This is the first year in many that I did not get my flu shot. I could kick myself in the butt for that. My advice to all of you, get the flu shot, I don't wish this on anyone!!!!
