A post by Sueshore yesterday saying that she had a grilled cheese for lunch made me think of where I had lunch today. I ate at Shades at the Loop. It was really good. I have not eaten there but have read all of your posts about it. I can't believe I have not eaten there, but I spend most of my time at Panty Ma Sity (as SmilingJoe calls it - well that is a version of his name for it). Anyway where did you have lunch today???????? :idontno:

I had lunch at Cafeteria today with Mcritz and then met Pea to da Pizod at Heartland Brewery where she and Mr. Pod had lunch.
Then we took her and she got the Trish McEvoy Lash Curling Mascara in Jet Black!
We are going to a burlesque show later where Pods are going to shake it with us!

But I AM going to try it.

Nothing exciting for me, just ate a couple of hots dogs out of toaster oven. Although last night went to a great little Mexican place here at home called Tribeca. So if you make it to Paducah it's in our Historical District. Now that was yummy!

Mr. JR & I ate in downtown Chicago for lunch and browsed, shopped, etc., while the teen JR slaved away for 3.5 hours rehearsing in his weekly youth symphony. He has no idea how much funn we have every Sat. while he's in there! He probably thinks we're standing around out in the hallway!!! :funn: :funn:

Merman and I did our Saturday usual. Drive to Costo to fill up the tank (only $2.07/gal today!) and then shop inside for the weekly groceries. If you go between 12 and 3 pm, all the samples are there for the taking. Let's see, today we tried sesame ginger chicken, which we bought, a piece of pizza, chicken tortilla soup (not as good as Sarawinds, but still pretty tasty), a square of blueberry cake, fresh avocado, and a sample of yogurt, which we also bought since it was so good. We always roll out of Costco stuffed to the gills.

way to go Mermaid and Merman! I love Costco, but of course we do not have one anywhere on the Northwest Fla gulf coast! I've only been to one in Bham - what a great place to shop for quality stuff from seafood to sofas!
sounds like some good eatin'.

We almost did that after Costco, to bring home some of their fabulous cinnamon bagels but we thought it would be too piggy.

After Shades we did the 30A tour for a while and I almost whipped into Modica Market to grab some Cinnamon Rolls to take home, but didn't because I thought the same thing you did! I don't have a big sweet tooth, but when I do it is usually for Cinnamon Rolls and you know they are good there.
