The sewer gas, like the blueberries, make the list strictly for sentimental reasons! I can never sniff sewer gas (not hard to do if you walk around the city like I do--we have an ancient plumbing system here in Indy :( ) without thinking of our first trip to Savannah. It hadn't rained there in ages and the city positively reeked. But we fell in love with it anyway.

28. When was the last time you cried? Sunday eve when my daughter told us someone had followed her in a car when she was on a bike ride. She wisely got off the sidewalk and took a bike path where the car couldn't go and waited until he went on down the street. A neighbor and his kids had noticed something didn't seem right with the car and came to check on her.
